I Wanna Be On® has developed a propriety “celebrity reality”
news model to determine if individuals (and businesses) reflect the notion of
newsworthiness to have an impact on the public.
This model was refined in light of the “Balloon Boy”
incident in October 2009 and the "Salahi Stunt" in November 2009 and currently reflects five (5) major indices that are
subjectively weighted according to Professor Presti’s analysis.
INDICES
The following indices are assigned a weight from one (1) to
five (5):
- Uniqueness/Originality (U/O)
- Media Platform Distribution Management (MPDM)
- Emotional Pull/Interest (EPI)
- Demographic/Geographic Appeal (DGA)
- Historical Significance (HS)
- Durational Story Life (DSL)
